Goodman Gallery returns to ART SG for its third participation in Singapore’s premier international art fair, held at Marina Bay Sands and widely regarded as the leading platform for contemporary art in Southeast Asia. Since its inception, ART SG has established itself as a key meeting point for global galleries, institutions, collectors, and curators engaging with the region’s rapidly expanding cultural landscape.
Building on the gallery’s sustained presence at the fair, previous editions have seen works by Goodman Gallery artists placed in significant private and institutional collections across Asia. The 2026 presentation continues this momentum, bringing together a focussed presentation of historical depth and contemporary resonance, with a particular emphasis on material intelligence, narrative experimentation, and cross-generational dialogue.
The booth foregrounds major works by leading figures in the gallery’s programme, including handwoven mohair tapestries by William Kentridge, sculptural and architectural installation by Kapwani Kiwanga, and a pivotal photographic work from Carrie Mae Weems’ Painting the Town series. These are presented alongside transfixing paintings by Cassi Namoda and Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum, as well as a carved hybrid mask by Yinka Shonibare, extending the gallery’s long-standing engagement with questions of history and representation.
